Behind the conversation

Clarity you can
trace back.

01 / The knowledge

Grounded in what the school publishes.

Before it answers, the companion — an AI assistant — looks up the school’s own website pages, FAQs and academic calendar, and writes from what it finds. Every answer lists those sources, so you can open the page and check the details yourself.

02 / The guidance

A reviewed parenting library.

Everyday questions — homework, screen time, exam nerves, choosing a stream — draw on a reviewed library of parent guidance. It is labelled separately from school information: general suggestions, not personal or professional advice.

03 / The people

People for what matters most.

Questions about your own child reach the school with your consent, so a teacher or counsellor can follow up. Worries about safety or wellbeing are met with helplines and a way to reach the counselling team. Where the school’s pages don’t have an answer, it is built to say so.

How is information added, and how does it stay accurate?

School answers are drawn from the school’s published website, FAQs and academic calendar, and the companion’s knowledge is rebuilt whenever the school publishes a change. Parenting suggestions come from a separate, reviewed library and are always labelled as general guidance. AI answers can still be wrong — for fees, dates and anything important, please check with the school.

For questions about your own child, the companion asks for your name, phone number and consent first. Your details and the conversation are then saved securely by the school, so someone can follow up if it would help. If you choose “Remember me”, only a reference number is kept on this device for 30 days — not your name or number. The conversation stays in this browser tab until you start a new one or close the tab.

What if I’m worried about my child’s safety or wellbeing?

The companion is not a counsellor and cannot respond in an emergency. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 112. For worries about safety, bullying or wellbeing, it shares trusted helplines and offers to have the school’s counselling team call you.

You can always speak to the school directly on 0262 1351800 or info@tmssurat.org.
